An Animation Override ("AO") is a scripted object that is worn as an attachment. It is generally very tiny and is worn inside the avatar's shape or HUD so that it is not visible. By editing the contents of the AO, users can add multiple animations to override the default animations used by the avatar. Example of default animations include "stand," "fly," "swim," etc. Animation Overrides can cause lag in highly populated sims.
