1. A social gathering or activity.
2. An event run by a resident. Some types of events are a party, game (such as Tringo), Town Hall, live music, classes, and other various activities.
3. An "Events" tab is in the Search Window which lists various resident-added events.
4. In scripting terms, LSL is an event-driven language where things are triggered by certain events (such as a resident touching an object).
