Strelok Militsiya is retired. Last leader: The Earst

History[]

Originally est. during the late 2008, Strelok Miltisya was jointly founded by Alek Xeltentat, Rhandr Vaher and Theo Xurnia (The Earst). Short background tells us that Alek was rich in his land acquisition businesses, and played a major financial role in Strelok Militsiya. The three leaders colonized in Brighton and the new military group gradually set out to become one of the superpowers in the late 2009.

Strelok Militsiya Derby Ground

DerbyStrelok Militsiya grew exponentially in numbers (~148)

In the beginning, the group barely experienced any advancement nor prosperity. The group lacked professional members, combatants, and technologies. After continuous struggle and total defeats, Strelok Militsiya became wholly inactive.

At the breathe of year 2009, Rhandr and Scott1023 Xevion (Theo), along with multiple new companions from disbanded armies, reinstalled Strelok Militsiya in Bull.

There, they saw slow growth and spurt of activity. The team created better R & D team and focused on advancing its weaponry technologies. The skillful amateurs also focused on the usage of real life tactics, such as blitzkrieg and Cold War-like threats and dominated few armies that resided in Bull. Incorporating the first air vehicle in TSL, Strelok Militsiya soon became at a level to wrestle various prevailing, supreme military groups. The youthful group quickly grew in power and strength, and was defined as a superpower during its participation in the Fourth Gridwide War. Strelok Militsiya expanded into Derby and Huntingdon during its golden era and quick and swiftly grew to be the number two superpower in the TGSLMC with a staggering 148 members, only exceeded by ASR (Army of the Sith Republic).

After the Teen Grid/Main Grid merge Strelok Militsiya became wholly inactive again including all high command members leaving Second Life all together. In 2014 a spark was lit and Strelok Militsiya was about to blaze again. Led once more by the three founding members Alek, Rhandr and The Earst (Theo) Strelok Militsiya soon was up to par with other Main Grid militaries of the time. Located in the sim Reborn Strelok began its construction phase. Many people enlisted with Strelok Militsiya and soon it was up and running and fighting its way back to the top once more. Unfortunately only three short months later Strelok fell into a downward spiral as their land support left Second Life. Soon Strelok had to retire due to not being able to keep up with the sim costs. Strelok disbanded once more.

February 2017 rumors began that Strelok Militsiya was once more on the war path.. Strelok is currently ran by The Earst solely. Word has it The Earst got together with his two Strelok comrades and devised a plan to put Strelok Militsiya back on the grid. A week after the rumors of the Strelok Resurgence 2017 a sim was been purchased and a base began construction. Strelok intended on returning to its roots and once more becoming a "Modern Futuristic" army. Approximately one month into this final rebirth of Strelok all production came to a halt as the command members discussed a shift in style, soon after Strelok became a Sci-Fi Viking group, the first of it's kind and last in the SLMC. After The Earst saw the popularity of the group and the amount of members trying to join or rejoin, and saw the popularity of his sim design and the flow of combat being fun to the other groups in the SLMC, he decided it was time to move Strelok from a Homestead sim to a Full sim, Vanahimr was born. Within a week Earst had a brand new sim built, which quickly became the pinnacle of Strelok builds with every group fully enjoying the layout and many options given for fighting styles and multiple routes of advancements.

The end of 2017 and start of 2018 Strelok flourished and hit an all time high with a high stance point within the SLMC, becoming a high power within the SLMC. Sitting second from the top of the leaderboard in all time traffic. The group was located in the sim Vanahimr, a full region, and had immense traffic and a balanced build that many loved to fight on. People enjoyed the build enough that the other SLMC groups came to Strelok and requested to have the first "Grid War" in a very long time. With six different groups all fighting each other on the same sim the full region of Vanahimr quickly reached it's avatar cap of 100 eventually even extending over the limit from people using an old trick to get more people in the sim. The fight went on for hours and it quickly became one of the greatest fights in a long while. Sadly in June of 2018 with overall SLMC activity dwindling and Strelok turning 10 years old, The Earst and Streloks High Command members decided to wholly retire Strelok and put it to rest after 10 years. Thus ending a decade of SLMC activity. Strelok is gone but will never be forgotten.

Leadership[]

This section lists respected members who have taken the roles General (Second-in-Command) in Strelok Militsiya.

(Edit: A personal message from The Earst) I really would like to thank every single person who has ever been a part of Strelok over the decade it existed. Without a single one of you the fun we had and the legacy we left behind would have never been possible. It's never the leader that makes a group, it's always the members and each and every single member of Strelok made it as great as it possibly could of ever been. Without all of your bright minds and all of your kindness and friendliness we never would of been able to be as fun to be a part of as we were, you all really made Strelok very special. It will always be a very special time and place in my heart and I'll never forget the memories all of made together. Thank you for everything you all have done. You're the best.
