- A resident's home location. Can be set from the world menu, but works only if the user is over land they own. A resident can login to their home location or to their last location, this option can be changed at the login screen (if the preference is enabled) or in Preferences -> General. When killed in combat an avatar will be teleported home. There used to be an option in the about land window that allowed the parcel owner to determine if other residents could set their home location to that parcel or not, this feature was removed.
- An icon on the world map that shows a resident where their home location is set.
