Hover

From Second Life Wiki

1. An avatar flying but not moving in any direction is said to hover. Also known as "hovering".
2. To hover the mouse over an object, avatar, or land which causes a tooltip to appear.
3. An object can have text hovering over it via LSL Wiki: llSetText.
4. A vehicle can hover.
