Plum

Plum has always been a Linden-owned sim, part of the northern Welcome Area. Some events have been held in Plum and Lime, however. Burning Halloween, Lynn Lippmann's Fool Moon flea markets, and the first Second Life Anniversary exhibit featuring the contents of the time capsule. Plum acts as Lime's Sandbox for the Welcome Area in Lime. The Lime/Plum Welcome Area is rarely used and mostly only used as a backup for special occasions (i.e. when Ahern is botched or a large influx of users come in).

Plum is also where the [Beta Contributors|Appreciation of the Beta Users Memorial]] is, three walls full of the names of beta residents.
