This page is an example test of what a unified SL wiki article might look like. Now, because this wiki's namespaces aren't set up to allow for multiple tabs across the top (where "article", "discussion", "edit", and "watch" are), this crude representation will have to do (for now). I will simply link to the other "namespaces" via what looks like a tab but is really just a link to another test page based on the link (but for now will just be all on this page--which may just be easier for short pages instead of putting little info on separate pages).

Eep Quirk is a huge fan of a single, unified SL wiki and, thus, is the main proponent of its creation.
- Namespace tab restructuring to allow for each existing SL Wiki to have its own section without cluttering up the main article page. One drawback to this design is that each namespace page will have duplicate links that would otherwise only need to appear once on the main article page. It would be nice if wiki software would have built-in support for selecting any word(s) to search for like Hyperwords does (but without automatically showing the menu on a selection--or requiring some silly hotkey to be pressed to show the menu either; it needs to optionally just show the search menu in the right-click context menu).
[none; will show up as a dead link if no content on page]
- To search multiple namespaces, configure your MediaWiki preferences.
- Putting all info on the main article page may just be easier for short pages instead of putting little info on separate pages which will have duplicate links and be tedious to edit/create.
- "Building" and "Protocol" namespaces?
Great idea! :P -Eep 04:57, 16 Jun 2006 (EDT)
